Sue Ryder shops are places you can bring items you no longer need, knowing that your donations will help make someone else’s day that much brighter.
Donate to your local Sue Ryder charity shop
All profits go straight to support our palliative, neurological and bereavement support across the UK.
We take furniture, clothing, books, DVDs, electrical items, other household objects and bric-a-brac.
For smaller items like clothes, please drop in your items to your nearest shop.
Our free furniture collection service
Did you know we offer a free collection service for donated furniture?
Want to donate multiple bags?
If you have a large amount of items you would like to donate and end up with 10 bags or more, our van may be able to come and collect them from your house. Get in touch with your local shop directly to see if they can arrange a collection.
How do your donations support our work?
Big or small, all donations are appreciated and add up to make a real difference.
- Donations which raise £40 could provide one complementary therapy session, such as massage, aromatherapy or reiki, helping our patients to feel calm and looked after.
- Donations which raise £60 could provide one session of bereavement counselling for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one.
