Get together

Host a Quiz night and test your family and friends' general knowledge.

How about having a BBQ out in the sun with friends and family?

A Garden Get Together or use a local venue to host your event, charging for entry to collect donations.

A Cocktail making evening or try your hand at wine tasting with friends. You could ask for donations

You could hold a dinner party at home and cook a three course meal for your guests, with everyone donating for entry into your one-off restaurant.

Join together with friends to de-clutter and raise funds at a car boot or street sale.

Get celebrating

Celebrate your birthday with a Facebook Fundraiser and ask friends and family to donate.

Do you have a wedding or anniversary coming up? Set up a Justgiving page and ask for donations instead of cards and gifts on your special day.

Get musical

Disco or themed music night.  You can all dress up!

Live band night – you could even hold a competition to see who wins the battle of the bands!

Who doesn’t love a good sing along with a Karaoke night?

Get creative

You could get sewing, knitting, crocheting or painting and sell your new creations to generate funds for our care.

How about holding your very own bake off? Who is the best baker in your family or office? There’s only one way to find out. Throw a tea party to show off your skills, hold a competition and charge to enter. You could ask for extra donations to taste the winning cakes and bakes!

When the sun is out, a Summer Fete is a great way to bring people together. Discover the hidden craftiness of your friends and colleagues, then hold a sale of items you’ve all produced.

Get gardening

Organise an Open Gardens day or weekend – charge an entry, serve refreshments and welcome guests to your home.

Or you could hold a plant sale, setting up a table outside your house or at a local fete to sell your geraniums, sunflowers, fuchsias and snap dragons.

Get active

Take on your own challenge or gather a team.  Create your own challenge whether it be a sponsored run, walk, cycle or even a skydive or wingwalk, or take part in one of our events

Member of a sports group?  Why not hold a charity match, tournament or sports day?

Get brave

Are you brave enough to shave your head, dye your beard blue or wax your legs to raise vital funds?  Perhaps a friend or colleague will join you!

Give something up

What can’t you live without? Sign up to go for a month without your favourite thing and ask for sponsorship.  It could be no social media or TV, or going without chocolate, crisps, sugar, cigarettes or alcohol – the choice is yours!
