Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice is proud to announce that renowned British singer, songwriter, record producer, and guitarist from Leeds, Corinne Bailey Rae will be amongst the celebrities attending this year’s Yorkshire Women of Achievement awards.
Talking about the event Corinne said: “I am so proud to be supporting the incredible work that Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice does every day by attending this year's Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards.
"I love Yorkshire, and Leeds in particular has really nurtured me and helped me develop as a musician over the years.”
The awards will take place at the Royal Armouries on Friday 18 May 2018 and prove highly popular every year.

Wheatfields Hospice provides care for patients and their families with life-limiting conditions. The hospice offers a range of care options for patients based on their individual needs and preferences including care from community nurses and day therapy at the hospice. The public’s support is vital in ensuring that the services and care the hospice provides can continue.
Last year Wheatfields cared for more than 1,600 patients. Their community nurse specialists provided over 5381 home visits; almost 900 people attended their day therapy unit and over 370 people received bereavement support.
