Quirky shop in centre of Ramsbottom
Surrounded by quaint stone independent shops, our shop on Bridge Street has been open for over 20 years and was originally a boot and shoemaker dating back to 1871 – it still retains the old world charm.
Donating is easy
When donating items to the shop there is access to the back door off Bridge Street via Paradise Street. Just pull up outside and you'll see our door; ring the bell and someone will assist you.
Over the years Rammy has become a food and drink destination, but visit our Sue Ryder shop to browse for a handbag, find a “new to you” outfit or an old book or curio. There's surely something for everyone with stock changing every day.
"Rammy" is on television
Ramsbottom is a small town with a big reputation as a tourist destination. With several festivals and events throughout the year like the annual Chocolate Festival and World Black Pudding Throwing Championships, Rammy (as it is affectionately known by the locals) has attracted celebrities like The Hairy Bikers and Paddy McGuiness. The town has been featured in many TV series and movies and our shop has been caught on camera many times!
East Lancs Railway has a steam train running through Ramsbottom every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays. There are several local free car parks dotted around with ample street parking.
