Secure your parking for the popular Haworth 1940s Weekend event by using our Park and Ride service - for a good cause.

A group of people in 1940s attire

The Haworth 1940s weekend is a popular local tourist event, attracting many people to the village each year. This year, we at Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice are partnering with the organising committee to provide the official event Park and Ride service.

All visiting cars to the 1940s weekend will be directed away from the congested roads of Haworth Village towards our parking site on Haworth Road, Cullingworth, on fields kindly provided by our great supporters Mr and Mrs Thompson.

Vehicles will be parked in the fields and visitors bussed into the heart of Haworth Village to enjoy the sites and sounds of a bygone era.

Park for a good cause

Parking costs £10 per car and all proceeds will be split equally, after costs, between Sue Ryder Manorlands Hospice and the Haworth 1940s Committee to help them cover the considerable costs of putting on this fantastic weekend.

Car parks open at 8.30am each day and the first bus leaves at 9.00am.

The last bus returns from the village pick-up point at 5.45pm and, for those who want to stay a little later into the evening and get a taxi back, the field won't be locked until 10.00pm.
