Take to the streets of Keighley with hundreds of runners on this 10k & 5k route to raise money for Sue Ryder's expert, compassionate end-of-life care.
Run through the paths, parks and roads of Keighley
The Keighley 10k & 5k are both challenging events at the start of the running season. The 10k follows a circular route through the paths, parks and roads of Keighley and the 5k route starts at the halfway mark.
All participants receive a bespoke Keighley 10k and 5k t-shirt. As the event takes place on Mother's Day, many people run or walk with their mum, for their mum or in memory of their mum.
Wheelchair participants are welcomed, though we do warn people considering this that it is a multi-terrain course and there will be tough sections. In one position in particular, a marshal has been briefed to give assistance if required.
Once again, we will be taking entries for the 5k route this year. Please note that this starts at Keighley First Scout Hut, Holme Mill Lane at approximately 9:20am and the route finishes with the 10k in Victoria Park.
It is participants' own responsibility to get to this position for registration and get back to the car after the finish.
Fill someone's last days with love
There is no minimum fundraising target for this event, but we are incredibly grateful to those who raise sponsorship for our care. Raising £145 from your sponsorship could fund a Sue Ryder Nurse for a day.
Whichever route you choose, the vital funds you raise will help to support our expert, compassionate end-of-life care and fill someone's last days with love. With your support, we can be there when it matters for families going through the toughest times of their lives.
Sign up for the Keighley 10k and 5k for a run through the paths and parks of Keighley. The crucial funds you raise will help fill someone's last days with love.
