Become a corporate partner

Sue Ryder wants to deliver services that meet the needs of more people, enable them to access personalised, life-enhancing care and work with partner organisations to expand the reach of our care.

We want a society that supports everyone through dying and grief. But we can’t do this alone.

Our corporate partners play a key role in working to ensure that we can be there for people during the most difficult times of their lives.

We partner with companies in a range of different ways, whether that be investing in local communities through our hospices or helping us be there for more bereaved people across the UK.

Together, we’re there when it matters. Take a look at our strategy to find out more about where we are headed or find out more about our palliative and bereavement support.

Together, we achieved an incredible amount in two years. By funding a clinical educator hundreds of healthcare professionals have been trained in compassionate end-of-life care. The partnership may have officially finished, but the friendships and close connections will last a lifetime.

Our corporate partners

Our corporate partners play a vital role in working to ensure that we can be there for more people through the most difficult times of their lives and continue to provide our palliative and bereavement support.

Employer bereavement support

We know that now more than ever, getting bereavement support right in the workplace is crucial for your business. Research we carried out in 2020 found that grief experienced by employees who have lost a loved one costs the UK economy £23bn a year through reduced productivity.

If you are an employer or line manager supporting an employee through a bereavement, we have lots of information and advice to help you to provide an open and supportive working environment for them during such an emotional and difficult time.

You can also access our Online Bereavement Support, where you'll find further resources, our Online Bereavement Counselling service and our Online Community where people can share their experiences of grief.

Our Online Bereavement Support currently receives no statutory funding - for an open discussion about how you might be able to support this service, please email us. You can also email us to request a copy of our ‘Cost of Bereavement’ report and a copy of our bereavement policy if you wish to review your own.

Statutory bereavement leave for all

You can read more about our ongoing campaign for statutory bereavement leave and add your voice in support.
