Enjoy a coffee and a slice of Christmas cheer in support of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice. There’s also the chance to enjoy cake and a spot of Christmas shopping in the bright and welcoming day hospice next month.
The volunteer-run monthly coffee morning will be a festive fundraising affair on Saturday 7th December between 10.30am and 1pm. Everyone is invited to come along and enjoy a slice of Christmas cheer, as well as helping to raise vital funds for families needing expert and compassionate palliative care.
It’s the perfect chance to escape the Christmas shopping crowds and enjoy a more relaxed Christmas shopping experience with a range of craft stalls, Christmas cards and gifts, a festive tombola and delicious cakes and festive treats to enjoy.
After shopping, enjoy a freshly ground cup of coffee supplied by The Coffee Dispensary Cheltenham, all while helping support local families needing care of the hospice.
There for local people when it matters
Since starting in January this year, the regular coffee mornings have raised £1,677 which could pay for 88 hours of care by Sue Ryder Nurses, supporting people to live the best lives they possibly can.
Hospice volunteer, Paulette Vallois, organises the coffee mornings. Paulette said, “As well as our usual great coffee, cake and chatter there will be lots of festive themed stalls selling some lovely bespoke items in the bright and welcoming day hospice building.”
“I hope lots of people will pop along and support us, as everything we raise on the day will help Sue Ryder Nurses, doctors, care and support teams at the hospice be there for local people when it matters, providing their expert care to help lives shine bright this Christmas.”
Admission is free.
