Sue Ryder Neurological Care Centre Lancashire
Opened in April 2020, the Sue Ryder Neurological Care Centre Lancashire is a purpose-built, state of the art neurological care centre based in Fulwood, Preston, providing specialist neurological rehabilitation care and support.
The new centre is based at the heart of a community and includes 40 fully accessible en-suite rooms, over three floors, with an additional four rehabilitation bungalows on site which will be opening soon.
The centre is equipped with a wide range of facilities to help support the delivery of the expert care, including a dedicated rehabilitation kitchen fitted out with appliances and utensils specially adapted to aid those who are undergoing therapy and hydrotherapy pool which physiotherapists use to tailor exercises to each individual.
Our Aim
The centre aims to ensure that people can receive expert care whilst remaining in their local community and maintaining their circles of support without necessarily living long-term in a care setting. However, when people do need 24-hour care, we are in a position to deliver that in a supportive, accessible environment.
