The items in our Hadleigh shop are vast and varied. With free parking nearby our friendly staff look forward to seeing you.
Our Sue Ryder shop is based in Hadleigh, Suffolk, as opposed to Hadleigh, Essex.
The shop itself has been open for 35 years, but it used to be a cinema! We have a vast amount of parking available opposite and at the back of the shop for customers who wish to drop off items, and we have leaflets available telling them how they can donate.
Donations are vast and varied, and although we don’t specialise, we like to think that we subscribe to the bigger picture by forwarding any items that might fetch a higher price elsewhere. Within the last year there has been a donation of some charcoal drawings which fetched £120 at auction – our most unusual find in recent times. We offer value for money and embrace the idea of a sale or special offer to encourage people into our shop.
At Sue Ryder Hadleigh, Suffolk, we pride ourselves on knowing what our customers are after, from music by Bizet, to a fluffy goat! We could dress a family of five for a lot less than you think, given half a chance, and we are busy organising a fashion show to demonstrate what can be purchased on a budget, and how to wear it.
With a population of around 10,000 people, Hadleigh boasts an attractive High Street dotted with interesting buildings that represent seven centuries of architecture, together with unique and independent retailers. There are 250 buildings listed for architectural interest.
