Sue Ryder Christmas Treecycling Gloucestershire
Date
15th January 2024 - 19th January 2024Contact
We are branching out and encouraging local residents across Cheltenham, Tewkesbury and parts of Gloucester to recycle their real trees through our Christmas Treecycling service. In return for a donation, we'll collect your real Christmas trees for recycling, to raise vital funds for Sue Ryder.
Recycle your Christmas tree and help support our care
This green scheme will raise vital funds so Sue Ryder can continue offering its compassionate palliative care and bereavement support, helping Sue Ryder teams be there when it matters.
For a suggested donation, we will collect real Christmas trees direct from your front door, front garden or driveway and recycle them.
Recycle and reuse to help the environment
Real Christmas trees are 100% recyclable and can be turned into compost or wood chippings that can be spread over local parks, gardens or landscaping projects, so residents who choose to Treecycle will not only be supporting Sue Ryder, but will also be helping reduce landfill.
In 2022, recycled tree chippings were used to lay a pathway through the woodland at Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice.
Sue Ryder does not make any money from processing the trees, so your donations help us be there when it matters.
Where we'll be collecting
We'll be out and about from Monday 15th January until Friday 19th January 2024 in these postcodes:

Please register your trees by Tuesday 9th January to ensure we have your details for the collection.

If it has still not been collected by 10pm on that day, please call 01242 246 270 the following morning so that we can collect it on our final sweep.
