The 657,000 hours of expert care we provided meant people could live as well as possible for as long as possible, with families supported every step of the way.

Our supporters donated 2.78 million bags of items to sell in Sue Ryder shops. This helped us to sell an incredible 15.8 million items in our shops, raising vital funds for our palliative and end-of-life care and grief support.

Nearly 6,000 visits from our Hospice at Home teams helped people stay where they felt most at ease – at home, with those they love. Over 124,000 phone calls were made to Sue Ryder patients and their families, helping us to support even more people to access expert care.

Our Online Bereavement Community saw over 270,000 people visit, showing just how many people are seeking connection, reassurance and a space where they don’t have to hide how they feel.

5,365 online bereavement counselling assessments were provided, supporting people who have experienced a bereavement.

12,225 amazing volunteers across the UK donated 1.55 million hours of their time to keep our shops and hospices running smoothly.
