Our Sue Ryder Downham Market furniture shop is a large-scale charity department store in a small market town in West Norfolk. The shop has a real community feel and is extremely busy on Friday and Saturday market days.

New stock every day

We receive enormous amounts of donations each week so there is always fresh stock out daily. Our range includes clothing for men, women and children alongside furniture, small electrical items, refurbished white goods, bric-a-brac, home accessories, toys and entertainment items.

As a team, we pride ourselves on the quality of our stock and offer high-street to high-end designer items. There is something for everyone’s price range.

We have a dedicated and friendly team of staff and volunteers who are always willing to go the extra mile to help our customers enjoy their visit.

Pay us a visit

We’re situated on the outskirts of the town just past the train station, which is well sign-posted. We have a large car park - there is also a convenient drop off area for donations at the back of the store.

Please note, on Sundays we are open from 9.30am, but it is browsing only until 10.00am.
