Facilities

Disabled access

Our volunteer base is an exuberant mix of veterans (ten years' service and more), work experience seekers and Duke of Edinburgh participants. We love what we do and having a good laugh while we do it.

Silent Auction events

At least twice a year we run a Silent Auction event. This is a showcase of the many unusual and collectible items donated to the shop; customers are invited to place sealed bids on the lots over a two-week period.

Quirky surprises and bargains

It's a great chance to get a quirky bargain, though sometimes even we get surprised. One of our star lots was a basket of military cap badges which eventually sold for £300!

Knitters welcome

As well as the wonderful donated stock in our shop - if you’re into knitting, worry not. We also stock new wool of many colours in thicknesses from double knit to super chunky.
