Update - Sue Ryder charity shops now closed due to latest UK lockdown

In line with the latest Government announcement, Sue Ryder’s charity shops in England, Wales and Scotland are closed until further notice.

Sue Ryder shops across the UK are now closed. Please do not leave donations outside of these closed shops as this is considered fly-tipping and will have serious impact on local council services to assist with clean up.

Further updates on reopening dates will be available in the new year.

'We can't stop'

During this challenging time, support for our vital care is more crucial than ever. The charity is continuing to face a £2 million a month shortfall whilst its doctors and nurses continue to play a vital part in Coronavirus effort, and with all our shops now closed, we face a further losing a further £500,000 a week.

This is based on calculations which cover our ‘normal’ operating levels, which do not take into account the current increase in demand for our bereavement services or the end-of-life care crisis, which looks to be on the horizon for the whole hospice sector in the coming months and years.

We urgently need your help so our Sue Ryder Nurses and expert healthcare teams can be there when it matters, for some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

If you would like to support our appeal, you can make a donation on our website.

Thank you once again for your continued support.
