In this edition, we’re celebrating the many ways that our supporters are making a difference with four pages of special mentions.

Their donations fund the care we provide through our hospices, neurological care centres, in the community and in people’s homes.

We’re also there for people’s families and friends, providing support for as long as we’re needed, and our supporter and regular blogger Richard Littledale has kindly shared his story with us.

Many people donate to us in memory of loved ones and, with autumn approaching, people often choose to reflect on those they miss; that’s why the newsletter includes information about our upcoming Lights of Love remembrance events.

Also in this edition, there’s information about Remember a Charity in your Will Week (10th to 16th September). Gifts in wills make up over 40% of our voluntary income and fund the equivalent of 22 hospice beds each year, so they’re very special to us.

Would you like to receive our print newsletter direct to your door?

There's nothing like the excitement of post dropping through your letterbox and the feeling of holding a newsletter in your hands.

If you’d like to receive the autumn edition of our newsletter through the post, send an email with your contact details to thankyou@sueryder.org and we'll pop you on our mailing list.

We also produce a monthly email newsletter for our supporters that covers all our hospice and neurological news nationally. Each of our hospices send their own monthly e-newsletter round-ups, too.
