Sue Ryder Neurological Care Centre Lancashire announced as LaingBuisson Awards finalist
Sue Ryder Neurological Care Centre Lancashire has been announced as a finalist at the LaingBuisson Awards 2022, which celebrate businesses and organisations that set new standards of excellence within their industries.
Recognising excellence in healthcare
The centre, which offers specialist neurological rehabilitation care and support for people living with neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, Huntington’s and multiple sclerosis as well as those with acquired brain injuries, is one of eight finalists nominated in the category of ‘Healthcare Outcomes’.
The awards will be presented at a high-profile ceremony which takes place on Thursday 17th November 2022 at Park Plaza, London.
In their 17th year of recognising excellence, the LaingBuisson Awards are judged independently and objectively, focusing on the people providing the care, as well as their advisors.
Commenting on being nominated for the award, Chris Walbank, Service Director, Sue Ryder Neurological Care Centre Lancashire said:
“I am absolutely delighted that the continued commitment and hard work of the Lancashire team has been recognised by the LaingBuisson Awards, which are held in very high esteem within health care settings. As a team, we really have striven to provide excellent, high-quality care, despite the challenges of the last two years.
“Aside from delivering expert care and support, fulfilling the charity’s ethos of seeing the person and not the condition is one of our highest priorities. Our aim is to continue building on this strong foundation, ensuring that those we support are empowered to thrive in their everyday lives, therapy sessions and social activities.”
