Start the Christmas festivities

A charity run and walk organised by Rotary in Skipton and supported by Skipton Town Council, this popular event starts at 11.00am on Sunday 30th November on Skipton High Street.

It is a precursor to the Christmas Lights switch-on later in the day.

Individuals aged 6 years and over of any ability can take part. We encourage families and members of community groups to enter teams to run as a group and raise sponsorship money.

This is a perfect way to start the Christmas festivities with the whole family!

The run routes

The run follows a 5k course around Skipton, through Aireville Park and Skipton Woods.

There is also a shorter 3k walkers and wheelchair-friendly route, again starting on the High Street, taking in a circuit of Aireville Park.

Dogs on leads will only be permitted on the 3k route.

Supporting our care

Your fundraising will help us provide our expert, compassionate end-of-life care and bereavement support, so that we can continue to be there when it matters.

It means that we can help the families we support through the toughest times of their life.
