The Bank of America Chicago Marathon is part of the ultimate marathon challenge, the Abbot World Majors. This event is for runners who will finish within 6.5 hours and are looking to run a world-record breaking course.

Join team Sue Ryder at the 47th Bank of America Chicago Marathon this October.
The flat and fast course begins and ends in historic Grant Park, taking you through 29 neighbourhoods of Chicago.
This marathon is part of theAbbots World Marathon Majors. If you have completed any of the other five events needed to receive this incredible medal, why not sign up to Chicago Marathon to be one step closer to receiving your six star medal.
How to get a place
The Chicago Marathon is a highly sought-after balloted event and is usually extremely difficult to get a place in, but you can get a guaranteed place by joining #TeamSueRyder.
We ask that you commit to raising at least £2000 for this event. Please note, you will need to organise travel and accommodation at your own cost.
