Bereavement, grief and loss awareness

This course will enable you to recognise common experiences and emotions during grief and bereavement, as well as identify evidence-based models to better understand people’s experiences of grief.

Course description

This course will enable you to recognise common experiences and emotions during grief and bereavement, as well as identify evidence-based models to better understand people’s experiences of grief.

It will help you to use compassionate and supportive language when communicating with a bereaved person, while also equipping you with knowledge of where to signpost individuals for further support.

Additionally, the course will focus on how to take care of your own wellbeing, while supporting others.
