Fancy dress, music, a carnival feel and mixed ability waves of runners (wheelchairs welcome!) make this an inclusive course with a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

This closed-road, flat route is perfect for reaching your new personal best. It's also a great training run for the full London Marathon that takes place just 2 weeks later.

What's special about running for Sue Ryder?

Man and woman cheering and holding sign saying 'Go!'

Every single one of our runners is amazing, and we make sure they know it too. Being part of our team means:

  • Dedicated support from us, your biggest fans, at every step. We’ll be at cheer points on race day to give you the boost you need to reach the finish.
  • A Sue Ryder running vest or T-shirt
  • Regular tips for your training and fundraising in your email inbox, to help you meet and exceed your goals.
  • To meet and be part of a team with a shared goal of supporting people nearing the end of their life, or who are grieving. Our runners for London Landmarks typically come from all over the country, and have personal experience of using our palliative and bereavement services.

What difference will I make?

  • By raising just the minimum fundraising target of £300 you could fund 10 hours of expert palliative care. This means our doctors and nurses can manage patients’ pain and symptoms and make more space for a family’s final days to be filled with love.
  • £300 could also pay for four counselling sessions with our online bereavement service.
