A walk under the stars

Sue Ryder Starlight Hike Cheltenham, sponsored by Allstone Speedy Skips, returns on Saturday 17th October 2026.

Starlight Hike highlights

Gather your family and friends to take on a 10k night-time walk under the stars. Walk to celebrate someone special, show your appreciation for our incredible Sue Ryder Nurses, or simply take part because you believe everyone deserves expert care and grief support.

Bright outfits, fancy dress and glow sticks are all encouraged. Along the route, you’ll enjoy live music from amazing choirs and a fun warm up before heading out on your walk.

Passing through the peaceful grounds of Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice, you’ll have the chance to place a star in memory of someone special to you.

On the night

  • 6.00pm - Registration opens and entertainment commences
  • 8.00pm - Walk starts (walkers will depart in waves from 8.00pm to 8.20pm)
  • 11.00pm – Event ends.
