Every step you take will make a difference
Estimates suggest up to 90% of all people dying in England may have palliative care needs.
Just imagine what it must feel like for people facing death who don't receive the specialist end-of-life care they need. Instead of their final days being peaceful and dignified, they face a painful, isolated experience.
No one deserves this. And it just doesn't have to be this way. By completing your challenge and raising sponsorship you can help provide expert care and compassion and ensure that fewer people need face death or grief alone.
Mike and Brenda's story
If you're considering signing up for the December Daily Dash, Mike and Brenda's story shows the tangible and impactful difference your fundraising will make.
Mike's partner Brenda died a few weeks before Christmas while Mike was fundraising for the December Daily Dash. For three years after that, Mike completed his Dash on the anniversary of Brenda's death. He always did his 5k around the grounds of one of Sue Ryder's hospices in Cheltenham.
