The Forget-Me-Not Memory Walk is for anyone who has lost a loved one and wants to walk in remembrance while raising vital funds for our South Oxfordshire Palliative Care Hub.
Please come and join us at the beautiful Temple Island Meadows to take part in our much-loved annual event set against the stunning backdrop of the Thames and Temple Island.
The Forget-Me-Not Memory Walk is for anyone who has lost a loved one and wants to walk in remembrance to celebrate those who are gone but not forgotten.
Please note: Registration is from 10.00am and the walk itself starts at 11.00am.
About the route
Both routes take in the Thames Path and the surrounding meadows, parts of which are not normally accessible to the public.
Our 5km route is suitable for children and families, while our 10km route is ideal for more confident walkers and families.
Registration opens at 10am, to allow plenty of time for refreshments or a flutter on the tombola. Both walks will set off from 11am.
Unfortunately, dogs cannot take part on this walk, and neither walk is suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs due to some narrow stiles and gates along the route.
Refreshments and family fun await you on your return - we look forward to seeing you!

Go that extra mile
We appreciate you coming along to our Sue Ryder Forget- Me-Not Memory Walk, but can you go that extra mile and ask your family and friends to sponsor you?
Last year we expanded our community-based services in and around South Oxfordshire so we can support more people in more places, and give them more choice about how and where they are cared for. All this takes medical expertise, compassion and understanding, which of course all takes money.
Did you know £60 could pay for one session of bereavement counselling for someone struggling to cope with the loss of a loved one?
If you raise a minimum of £60, we’ll give you a free Sue Ryder Forget-Me-Not t-shirt and a goody bag on the day.
Get together and see how much you can raise!
