Cream of Scottish musicians donate to auction in support of our Sue Ryder Dee View Court Capital Appeal

Scottish musicians Bobby Gillespie, Calvin Harris, Simple Minds, Annie Lennox, Sharleen Spiteri and DJ and producer Graeme Park have all donated auction prizes to fund the expansion of our Sue Ryder Dee View Court Neurological Care Centre in Aberdeen.

The auction is taking place online via givergy.com over the next month.

There are a number of amazing items up for grabs, ranging from meet-and-greets with Sharleen Spiteri and Simple Minds through to exclusive tickets to Annie Lennox's one-woman show, and signed memorabilia from Primal Scream frontman Bobby Gillespie, and DJs Calvin Harris and Graeme Park.

Annie Lennox: Two tickets to her one-woman show at SEC Armadillo Glasgow, Thursday 26th September

Annie, who is from Aberdeen, has donated a pair of tickets to her one-woman sold-out show ‘An Evening of Music and Conversation’ which takes place at SEC Armadillo Glasgow on Thursday 26th September.

Annie said of her donation: “Centres such as Sue Ryder Dee View Court really improve the quality of life for those in the local community. As an Aberdonian, I’m honoured to be able to support the appeal.”

Sharleen Spiteri: Two backstage passes for her concert at C4R-FEST, Sunday 25th August

Sharleen Spiteri has donated two tickets for her performance with Texas at this year’s C4R-FEST, which takes place on Sunday 25th August in Hampshire. The lucky fans will also have the chance to meet Sharleen backstage before the show.

Sharleen, whose father has the neurological condition Parkinson’s disease, said of her donation: “I know from experience the difference that places such as Sue Ryder Dee View Court make for people who are living with neurological conditions – the charity needs to raise £3.9 million to expand the centre and I really do wish them the best of luck in getting there.”

Producer, DJ and songwriter Calvin Harris, who is the most played Scottish artist of the 21st century, has donated a signed vinyl copy of his album Fun Wav Bounces Vol 1, a signed Gold Sales Award for I Need Your Love and a signed platinum disc of I Need Your Love.
