Ambassadog Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Registration
a. Entries must be via the website form to be considered
b. The deadline for entries is midnight on 28 May 2021. Any entry received after this time will not be entered into the competition.
c. Participation in the competition shall be deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions by the participant.
d. Sue Ryder reserves the right to refuse or exclude any entry in its absolute discretion.
2. Publicity
By participating, participants agree to take part in publicity which may include interviews, photography and/or filming for Sue Ryder internal communications, local and/or national media. By entering, participants agree that their photographs may be used and reproduced by Sue Ryder for the charity’s promotional purposes. Sue Ryder will endeavour to credit individual photographers but does not guarantee to do so.
3. Judging
a. Entries will be judged by a celebrity judging panel, as well as experts from Sue Ryder and Pets As Therapy. The judges include:
i. Actress, Carley Stenson
ii. Presenter, Richard Arnold
iii. Presenter, Kaye Adams
iv. Author, Emily Dean
v. Pets as Therapy expert, Matthew Robinson
vi. Sue Ryder Chief Executive, Heidi Travis
b. The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
c. Sue Ryder reserves the right to award the title of Ambassadog to another entrant if the first selected winner is unable to fulfil the role outlined in the application form.
4. Liability –Sue Ryder accepts no responsibility for any personal injury suffered by any participant in taking part in the Ambassadog Competition in the absence of negligence or breach of statutory duty on the part of Sue Ryder. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall limit or exclude Sue Ryder’s liability for any personal injury caused by Sue Ryder’s negligence. Sue Ryder accepts no liability whatsoever for any damage to any participant’s property.
