Could you help repair and restore frail furniture, unwanted clothes or household items?
If you can see past superficial imperfections and see potential in old furniture or unwanted clothes, join Sue Ryder’s charity shop team in Earlham, Norwich as a Volunteer Upcycling Assistant.
Supported by our friendly team, you’ll have the opportunity to unleash your creativity and bring new life to donated items. Working with others you’ll create upcycled products ranging from shabby chic cabinets and tables to fashionable fabric bags and patterned glassware.
You’ll be able to develop your skills in sewing, stitching, printing, painting, sanding and cutting, in a social environment.
This is a flexible opportunity to show off your artistic talents, to get a taster of a career in retail and you'll be helping Sue Ryder provide incredible care to people living through the challenges of life-limiting conditions.
