Role Purpose
Join Sue Ryder’s Family Support team, using your administration skills to assist the busy department with providing support to our patients and their friends and families both emotionally and practically.
 
 
Role Overview
Duties of the role may vary according to need, but will include:
-photocopying
-filing
-restocking stationery
-generating letters
-creating forms and leaflets
-taking department phone calls and passing on messages to staff as appropriate
-ordering leaflets
 
A DBS check (formerly known as CRB) will be required for this role, at no cost to you.
Mandatory training will be given. 
 
 
 
Commitment: Mondays and Fridays, each for a few hours during the day
 
Skills
Ideally you will have:
-an organised and systematic approach
-excellent communication skills; able to communicate effectively face to face, via telephone and email, with people at all levels
-polite telephone manner 
-working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software
-good written and spoken English
 
 
Experience
Previous administration experience would be beneficial. Training in Sue Ryder’s systems and processes will be provided.
