Role Purpose:
Support Sue Ryder’s fundraising efforts by promoting and coordinating the placement and collection of tins in your local area community.
 
 
Role Overview
With support from the local fundraising team, you will be:
  • Placing collecting tins in new premises in a given area
  • Managing collecting all tins in a timely manner and ensuring transport to the local        fundraising office
  • Keeping accurate records to liaise with Fundraiser
  • Thanking and receipting sites
  • Keeping sites informed of other Sue Ryder activities.
  •  Identifying new locations to place new collection tins 

 

 

Commitment: Flexible hours and days
 
Skills:
Ideally you will have:
 
  •  confidence in talking to people face to face and over the phone
  •  a good knowledge of your local area
  •  good time management skills
 
 
 
Experience:
Previous experience in public speaking or fundraising would be beneficial but is not essential.
 
 
Benefits:
Training and on-going support will be provided. We can reimburse your reasonable travel expenses / mileage for shifts of over 4 hours, and we will be able to provide a reference to prospective employers.
