Shop Details

Located by picturesque Wareham Quay

Our lovely Sue Ryder Wareham shop is situated up from the picturesque Wareham Quay on the River Frome where you can enjoy a drink or a meal. If you are feeling energetic you could hire a boat or simply sit and relax. Wareham is a small market town with a selection of individual shops as well as two well-known supermarkets.

A worthy visit: Saturday market and passenger boat

We are one of five charity shops in the town making Wareham a worthy visit if you love a bargain. Wareham is serviced with a train station and regular buses, and in the summer there is a passenger boat from Poole up to Wareham which is very popular. The market is held every Saturday on the quay.

Boutique-style experience

Our shop is of a boutique style and offers a lovely friendly one off shopping experience where customers can pop in for a chat as well as find a bargain. We have a great team of volunteers who have a vast knowledge between them, always willing to help find our customers their perfect find, from an outfit for a special occasion to a certain author or a fancy dress outfit.

Forgotten your sleeping bag?

Although our shop is quite small we offer a good range of products. We regularly have a promotional rail for that extra bargain and our vintage section is always popular. We also have a camping section in the summer.

We have a selection of new goods throughout the year including our top-selling bedding range which is popular with the camper who has forgotten their sleeping bag or pillow in the summer.

All our donations come in the front door. Outside the store is a taxi rank [which is rarely used!] so dropping off could not be easier.

Volunteer Today

Everyone has something incredible inside them which we need to support our shops. Below are a few local volunteering roles you can apply for now. You can also pop into the shop and book a taster session to try it first.
