About Tamworth

Sue Ryder Tamworth is based within the town centre which has an array of high street stores. Local to us is St Edithas Church, a landmark in the town centre, and not far within walking distance are the Castle grounds which houses the famous Tamworth Castle - well worth a visit for its historic values and the various events staged there throughout the year.

Our shop's successful history

Sue Ryder Tamworth opened in 2008 as a temporary shop but soon became popular with the town’s people and soon built up a large customer base who still visit on a regular basis and have become good friends of the staff of volunteers who as a team are second to none.

Because of its success, and after a long wait, Tamworth closed September 2014 for refurbishment and reopened May 2015 with a superb new look. It’s an exciting time with all the staff after a long absence returning to work which shows their commitment to Sue Ryder.

Range of clothing and furniture

Our Tamworth store is a combined clothing and furniture shop with good quality donated items that stocks a wide range of bric-a-brac, books, electricals and entertainment with occasionally some very unusual and interesting antique items.

We also stock a wide range of new goods items including high street retailer clearance furniture and a range of brand new musical instruments, doll’s houses and accessories and clothing accessories. We have something for everyone.
