Positive reviews for bright St Ives shop
Sue Ryder St Ives is a bright and cheerful shop staffed by friendly volunteers. It is well stocked with both new goods and donated items. The music section has always been popular and we’ve worked hard to carry on with this. We have also recently rearranged the shop and have had very positive and encouraging comments from customers.
A lovely town full of charm
St Ives is a lovely town with quaint and interesting shops, as well as the usual supermarkets etc. There is also a modern cinema and theatre and is close to some beautiful beaches as well as its own harbour beach.
Parking is restricted in town with the local train station having the only car park. There are large car parks on the edge of town with frequent into town. As well as being a top tourist destination, St Ives has the Tate Gallery and Barbara Hepworth museum and gardens.
Did you know: air raid shelter
Sue Ryder St Ives is located in the centre of the town, close to the lovely harbour and en route to the local train station. Opposite is the library/tourist information building and the road is full of local shops. During the war the shop was a ladies and gent’s hairdressers and during the time of any attacks or air raids people sought shelter in the cellar of the shop.
