Sowerby Bridge

Shop Details

Our Sue Ryder Sowerby Bridge shop lies in the heart of this small town, situated on the Main Street close to lots of amenities. It's on the main bus route from Halifax, Rochdale and Oldham, and close to the train station and local market.

The shop has been here for over 25 years but not always in its present form, as the shop was expanded five years ago to double its size. It is a popular place for people to browse and there is lots of new stock daily, so whether you’re looking for clothing, accessories, or just a good book to read you will find it all in this small but friendly shop.

Children love choosing from our selection of toys, books and clothing all at reasonable prices. For those who are musical, we sell a variety of new guitars, colourful ukuleles (ideal for introducing children to music) bongos, maracas, tambourines, and recorders. To complement these items we have guitar and ukulele bags, strings, music and guitar stands.

If it's bric-a-brac you are after we have a broad variety of items on offer from beautiful vases to pictures to complement your home. There is always something new to discover.

We also sell some new goods like birthday cards, homewares, garden ornaments and during the Christmas period doll’s houses and furniture. There are parking spaces outside the shop making it convenient for people who wish to drop off their kind donations.
