Shepton Mallet: a richly diverse market town

Shepton Mallet is an ancient market town grown on sheep rearing and linked industries. It is nestled in the Mendip Hills in Somerset, between the hippy town of Glastonbury and the cathedral city of Wells. Our population consists of locals born and bred, a large international community and artisans who help to make our High Street have independent shops rather than the usual high street chains.

Because of our location, the Sue Ryder shop in Shepton Mallet caters for and includes a diverse range of individuals who love our charity shop.

Shop window is our eye onto the world

The shop window is our eye onto the world; we use it to draw people in, creating relevant and impacting designs, using seasonal goods and donations to highlight the wealth of our stock. The people who donate to our charity and our selfless volunteers are the life of our shop providing Sue Ryder with immaculate items to put on our shelves and invaluable time to help us. We are lucky in that our sales include furniture, bric-a-brac, books, entertainment and media, children's wear, menswear and ladies wear.

£2 store means bargains galore

Shepton Mallet recently became a £2 store. This means we have bargains galore in our ladies, menswear and accessories departments. We also have a high end rail of branded product enabling customers to get designer items and vintage clothing for better than high street prices. Our shop is a haven for our regulars and provides a must visit destination in the rural town of Shepton Mallet. We would love to welcome you.
