Haddington

Shop Details

A unique offering

The Royal Burgh of Haddington is a county town in East Lothian, famous for its golf courses and fertile agricultural land and only 20 miles from Edinburgh. We have a farmers market on the second last Saturday of the month.

Our Sue Ryder shop has been in Haddington for 20 years and we've recently changed the shop layout to become a furniture and bric-a-brac shop, giving us a unique offering in town. We have a regular flow of customers and donations, so a trip to our shop is bound to reveal some treasures - whatever your taste.

Did you know?

  • Sean Connery worked as a joiner in Haddington before becoming the famous 007.
  • Dr Marie Macpherson, a local author, is writing a trilogy about John Knox who was born in Haddington and educated at Knox Academy (later named after him), and is a very good customer.
  • And we don't like to boast, but the Duchess of Hamilton is a regular visitor to our store.

Donations welcome
