Burford: Gateway to the Cotswolds
Known as the 'Gateway to the Cotswolds', our Sue Ryder Burford shop is in Burford, a charming medieval town visited by tourists throughout the year. The town lies within easy reach of Oxford, Cheltenham, Cirencester and many of the delightful villages that surround the town.
Ideally located, interesting items
Our shop is ideally situated in the middle of the broad High Street. We are complimented with a prime location and our reputation for giving a happy and helpful service to all our customers and donors alike is renowned. Our shop holds an array of donated goods from antique bric-a-brac to designer clothing labels, interesting books and household goods new and donated.
High Street unchanged since Tudor times
The High Street has remained unchanged since the Tudor times and slopes down to the pretty Windrush River. There are many intriguing little side streets with ancient pubs, tearooms and antique shops to explore after visiting us. Whether staying for a few hours or on holiday, Burford has much to offer with its yearly festival including open gardens, allowing the visitors to see behind the usually 'closed gates'. Within a short drive away lies Burford Garden Centre and Cotswold Wildlife Park.
The area offers free parking and you are sure to receive a warm welcome from our volunteers and staff when you visit.
