Standing out from the crowd in Bideford

Come and pay us a visit in the High Street, half way up on the right hand side. Now I know what you are thinking: why Sue Ryder in a town full of charity shops? Well it's quite simple - we are different!

All garments £2

Every hanging garment is £2. Everything is a genuine bargain. And if that's not enough we have great deals on CDs, DVDs and books - all at 75p each or three for £1.50.

New goods range

So what are you waiting for? Come and see us - you never know what you might leave with! Nearly forgot to mention our wide range of gifts from our new goods section, including everything from greeting cards to ukuleles and a lot in between.

Donating to us

Any good quality donation really helps, be it that top sitting in the corner of your wardrobe or the jigsaw puzzle you never quite finished. We would love to sell it here at Sue Ryder Bideford. If you have an item of furniture you would like to give us we can usually collect it from you.

Gift Aid

And if you’re a UK tax payer you can sign up to Gift Aid your donation, giving us an extra 25% from the taxman. If you can't find anything to donate, how about donating a couple of hours of your time each week and becoming a volunteer? We always need help - just pop in for an informal chat and find out more.

How it all helps

Finally, what is it all in aid of? In a nutshell, Sue Ryder cares for people with cancer and neurological conditions including Huntington’s, cerebral palsy, stroke, Parkinson’s and dementia. All of this happens in our hospices and neurological care centres throughout the UK.
