We support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. We support people in our residential and day centres, day clinics, in the community or at home. We help people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and life changing illnesses.

Welcome to the Sue Ryder Yorkshire Women of Achievement Awards.

This year's event will be held on Friday 25 May at Savilles Hall of the Royal Armouries in Leeds between 11.45am and 4.00pm

We are once again delighted to be recognising and celebrating the achievements of some of Yorkshire’s amazing women, whilst raising money for Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice.

Here at Wheatfields we care for people with life-limiting conditions such as cancer, end-stage lung and heart disease, as well as many other serious illnesses.  Our running costs this year are over £4 million and we rely on the generosity of our supporters to help us raise the funds needed to continue our care.

Using this site you will be able to nominate the inspirational women in your life, as well as book your place at the event.

Why not also take a look at our blog to see how the event is shaping up, view messages from some of people involved with the awards and watch interviews with some of our past winners.

From all of us here at Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice, we look forward to celebrating with you.
