We support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. We support people in our residential and day centres, day clinics, in the community or at home. We help people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and life changing illnesses.

We are changing

Recently, you may have noticed changes to the way we present ourselves; our name, our messages and our visual identity.

This is because we want more people to know about our services so we can reach more people.

Why?

The world around us is changing

  • There will be less funding for compassionate care
  • And more care is needed close to home

The public want us to change

  • Our shops are better known than our care
  • People want us to speak plainly and directly about challenges
  • And they want us to be more up to date

What we believe

At Sue Ryder, we believe life is a journey.
And on that journey, people face different challenges.
We help people live through the challenges of life-changing illness.

Our values

  • Challenging
  • Compassionate
  • Supportive

What we do

We support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness.

For some people, we do that by caring for them around the clock in one of our hospices or care centres. For others it's about day visits to one of our centres. Or specialist visits at home. This helps people with their health needs, and keeps them involved in their community.

We've been doing this for more than 50 years.

What's next

Over the coming year you will see our centres and shops start to change and carry the new 'Sue Ryder' name. You will see our literature communicate our new messages and services. And you'll notice our online presence evolve.
