We support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. We support people in our residential and day centres, day clinics, in the community or at home. We help people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and life changing illnesses.

There are three ways you can run for Sue Ryder

1. Enquire about taking part in a running event for us.

2. Apply for a charity place in the following races:

  • London Marathon
  • Great North Run
  • Reading Half Marathon
  • Great Manchester Run
  • New York Marathon
  • Bupa London 10,000k
  • Edinburgh Marathon

3. Or secure your own place and register to join the Sue Ryder team.

Join the Sue Ryder Running team and you will receive:

  • Sue Ryder running vest
  • Fundraising pack and advice
  • Training support and plans
  • Newsletters in the lead up to the big day
  • Cheering along the route to keep you motivated (available for most races)
  • Post-race celebrations to say congratulations and thank you! (available for most races)
