We support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. We support people in our residential and day centres, day clinics, in the community or at home. We help people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and life changing illnesses.

For us, healthcare and the environment go hand in hand

Our shops are recognised for their contribution to diverting waste away from landfill through reuse and recycling.

However, there are other ways that our shops can make a difference and this activity falls into the following key themes:

Waste   - diverting waste from landfill through waste miminisation, reuse and recycling
Energy  - saving energy to help reduce CO2 emissions
Water  - introducing waste saving devices
Transport  - encouraging staff, volunteers and customers to travel wisely
New Build - to build new shops as sustainably as possible
Sustainable procurement - use eco-friendly shop supplies

Over the coming months we shall be introducing policies and practices to improve on our environmental performance and will shall keep you informed of our progress.
