We support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. We support people in our residential and day centres, day clinics, in the community or at home. We help people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and life changing illnesses.

Help our care grow, sponsor a tree...

We are proud to introduce our new Henley Woodland - whether you sponsor a tree in memory of a loved one, or to mark a birthday or special celebration you will be helping support our services in the local communities of Berks, Bucks and Oxon.

We look after people with life-limiting illnesses such as cancer, at Nettlebed Hospice near Henley, Duchess of Kent House in Reading and community based services in Wokingham and Newbury.

We have kindly been given land from the Henley Town Council to plant up to 1000 trees, and thanks to the support of the Henley in Transition Group, we have experts at hand to design the layout and assist with the safe planting.  We are also very grateful to Timberland who have covered the key set-up costs to enable all the sponsorship we receive for each tree to go directly back into the care we provide to support people like Helen and her family.  Helen (pictured) lost her husband Terry at Nettlebed Hospice in April 2009 and is supporting our new Woodland;

"The Woodland provides a peaceful and tranquil location to visit and remember loved ones.  The Woodland allows the children and I a chance to celebrate Terry's life and come away with a positive experience.  The Woodland also breaths fresh life back into the natural environment.

I am proud to be supporting the Woodland and would encourage you to sponsor a tree.  It will give you somewhere special to visit, as well as much needed funds to help people like Terry and our family."
