Sue Ryder established Domov (home) Ryder in 2000, providing much needed residential care for the elderly.The home welcomes individuals from across the Czech Republic each year, and provides residential care for 56 people, with dignity and loving care. The home also offers activities for the elderly in the day centre and provides at home assistance to a further 70 people.
The Domov also has a local library and restaurant open to the public, making this truly a home at the heart of Prague's community.
