Thorpe Hall Launch Event

Started with £50. Raised a fortune.

In September 2011, 115 teams recieved a £50 start up investment and they had four months to raise as much money as possible. In total the Big Wigs Business Challenge 2011 raised over £100,000, this is enough to cover the running costs of one of our hospices for two and a half weeks.

The coveted top prize of National Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2011 went to Purple Frog in Henley on Thames, who raised £8,650 with their great idea of visiting every tube station in London in a day. Well Done!

We hope all our teams enjoyed their recent award events and many congratulations to all of our winners!
