We support people living through the challenges of life-changing illness. We support people in our residential and day centres, day clinics, in the community or at home. We help people affected by cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and life changing illnesses.

Ride for RyderSince 2007 Ride for Ryder has promoted fun and active riding events in aid of supporting people with incurable illness. Last year, we raised more than £150,000 nationwide.

From mountain bikes to kayaks. And touring bikes to bucking broncos. There have been many different and unique modes of transport.

This year, we challenge you to do one better.

What will you decide to ride?

Ride with us

There are five organised bike rides across the country. From family and beginner rides of 4 miles. To challenging cyclesportives of 88 miles. Also, there are long distance cycle trips, including London to Paris. And for the competitive cyclist a stage of the Tour de France. Find out more.

Support your local shop

We understand that not everyone is into bike riding. If this is you, go to your local shop and find out what weird and wacky things they'll be riding this summer. Last year, there were bucking broncos, exercise bikes and tractors. Find your nearest shop.

Organise your own challenge or event

Alternatively, you can organise your own riding event. It can be as unique, personal or physically challenging as you like. Ditch the car for a week and donate the petrol money. Organise a race night and charge an entrance fee. Or get sponsored to cycle across the country. Find out more.

All proceeds from Ride for Ryder support our specialist palliativehomecare and long-term care services for people living with cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, stroke, brain injury and other life-changing illnesses.
