Shop staff get "Riding for Ryder"

9 June 2010

Ride for Ryder launched only a month ago but our shops have used every opportunity in May to start their fundraising activities. Fantastic retail successes include:

Highcliffe shop successThe Highcliffe Shop
Nathan, Jack, Sophie and Chloe aged between 9 and 12 jumped at the chance of a Ride for Ryder challenge and cycled 6 miles on 6 June. Through sponsorship, car boot sales and various activities they have already raised £250 and are still hoping to raise more!

The Brunel Shop
The team at Brunel creatively used their van driver's 50th Birthday as a unique fundraising method for Ride for Ryder. £150 was raised through a collection from supporters and staff at the shop!

Lucy LoquetteThe Malmesbury Shop
Lucy Loquette not only already volunteers for Sue Ryder in the Cirencester Shop but volunteered to cycle in the rain and wind for three hours in Malmesbury High Street for Ride for Ryder. Her determination and enthusiasm helped raise £189 for Sue Ryder and she's not stopping there, she is cycling again for the charity in November, this time from London to Paris!
