Gala Coral Group highly commended in the Corporate Responsibility Index for partnership with Sue Ryder

8 June 2010

Congratulations to the Gala Coral Group who have achieved the Bronze Band in Business in the Community’s (BITC’s) 2009 Corporate Responsibility Index (CRI), the UK’s leading voluntary benchmark of corporate responsibility. They are the only company in the betting, bingo and casino field to be included in the CRI.

The CRI helps companies to integrate and improve corporate responsibility throughout their business operations, by providing a systematic approach to managing, measuring and reporting on business impacts in society and on the environment. It is a key measure of a company’s commitment to corporate responsibility.

This was the first time that Gala Coral Group have been included and they have been highly commended for their strong community partnership with Sue Ryder!
