Play online game and win a quad bike experience for two

20 May 2010

Sue Ryder is offering people the chance to win an exciting quad biking experience for two.  Click here to play the healthcare charity’s fun new online arcade game, and when you submit your score you’ll be entered into a prize draw.  Closing date for entries is 30 September 2010.

Designed to help the charity raise vital funds to provide end of life and long-term care in the UK, the online game offers a choice of three modes of transport – a tractor, a camel and a hot air balloon – in which to race through English countryside in, collecting as many coins as possible.  After crossing the finish line, players are told how many coins they have accrued and can choose to donate that amount to Sue Ryder.

Ruth Peters, Head of Events at Sue Ryder said: “We’re delighted with the game: it’s really simple and fun to play.  The tractor, camel and hot air balloon all have their strengths and weaknesses in helping players get to the top of the scoreboard, as well as players’ quick thinking and nimble moves!”

Ruth added, “We have already seen over a quarter of a million people play the game in its first two weeks of going live which is just mind blowing.”

The online arcade game is designed to encourage people to fundraise in aid of Sue Ryder, donate money and raise awareness of the charity’s health and social care work.  The game complements the charity’s annual Ride for Ryder summer fundraising campaign.

Sue Ryder is one of the largest providers of specialist palliative and neurological care in the UK providing more than 4 million hours of care per year to people living with cancer, multiple sclerosis, Huntington's disease, Parkinson's disease, motor neurone disease, strokes and brain injury.
