'The Fundraiser' Comes to Town

14 April 2010

A new fundraising venture that Sue Ryder – St John’s Hospice has undertaken is set to send the locals taste buds into a frenzy!!

In celebration of our 30th Anniversary here at St John’s Hospice, we have collaborated with The Potton Brewery Co. and produced a commemorative bitter that is available throughout our region of Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire.

The bitter itself is called ‘The Fundraiser’ and is brewed to a popular strength of 4% abv.  It can best be described as a light golden bitter with a noticeable hop aroma and a calm bitter aftertaste.

For every firkin of 'The Fundraiser' ordered, St John’s Hospice will receive a donation from the brewery, so every barrel sold makes a difference.  If publicans would like to order a firkin, and help us launch our new bitter, please contact The Potton Brewery Co. directly on 01767 261042.

By supporting us and selling our bitter either as a guest or regular beer, publicans will be helping our nurses continue to provide expert care for people living with conditions including all types of cancer and a variety of incurable diseases.

For further information call the fundraising office on 01767 641044
