£500 towards Penga Penga

Smurfs from the University of Westminster24 March 2010

Students from the International Development Society at Westminster University have raised £500 towards their sponsorship pledge for Penga Penga Village in Malawi.

Through a combination of tube collections and pub crawls the group of students from Westminster University really threw themselves into the spirit of fundraising by dressing up as smurfs! Emma Taylor and her fellow society members signed up to our Malawi Village Sponsorship scheme before Christmas and have already secured strong support from their student union.

If you would like to join Emma in sponsoring a village in Malawi then please do get in touch with our London Fundraising Team either by calling 0207 492 0743 or email London.Fundraising@sueryder.org
